Frankie Dettori is one of the most successful and celebrated jockeys in the history of horse racing. With over 3,000 career victories, including 20 British Classic wins and five Arc de Triomphes, he has established himself as a true legend of the sport. Now, for the first time, Frankie tells his incredible story in his own words.

Born in Milan, Italy, in 1970, Frankie Dettori grew up with a passion for horses. He was inspired by the exploits of legendary jockey Lester Piggott and dreamed of one day following in his footsteps. At the age of 15, Frankie left Italy to apprentice with renowned trainer Luca Cumani in England, where he began his journey to stardom.

Frankie quickly made a name for himself as a talented and fearless jockey. In 1994, he became only the second jockey to ever win all seven races on the same card at Ascot, a feat that earned him the nickname "Frankie the Magnificent." His success continued in subsequent years, as he won numerous major races and became one of the most sought-after jockeys in the world.
