About the Author

Otto Dietrich (1897-1952) was a German Nazi politician and journalist. He served as Hitler's press secretary from 1933 to 1945. Dietrich was a close confidant of Hitler's, and he was privy to many of the Führer's most private thoughts and plans.

After the war, Dietrich was arrested by the Allies and charged with war crimes. He was convicted and sentenced to 19 years in prison. Dietrich died in prison in 1952.
